UniversityRenter was founded by Sir Joe and Sir Billy sometime late in the fall of 2006 to provide information about apartments and condos for lease or rent near UNCG. After creating NCSULiving and getting such good feedback, the two could not help themselves to continue to expand. You can go to NCSULiving and get background on why the whole thing was started, but the basic idea is that UNCG students need a way to search for off-campus housing without driving from place to place or being at the mercy of a property manager. Also, we allow UNCG students or landlords to post sublease or rent ads in our classifieds section for free.
